Bianca and Sid’s wedding was my first wedding of the year at Coldwater Gardens. I absolutely LOVE it there. It’s sooo beautiful. From the gorgeous cabins to get ready in to the stunning ceremony site… it’s all just perfect! If you ever have the chance, you should totally go for a weekend of glamping… so cool.
It also had some of my favorite things. Pizza, popsicles from Frios (have you been there yet?? They’re soooooo good!), and pretty reception details. Bianca and Sid love pizza, so they wanted to do something a little different from your typical wedding food and had Rolling Embers come with their wood burning oven to cater. One of the main things Bianca said she wanted was a photo of her and Sid making their own pizzas. How freaking cute is that?! And they were soooo delicious too!
Bianca and Sid, along with their families, planned this wedding at Coldwater Gardens in 4 months and oh my gosh! Did an incredible job! When I walked into their reception space and saw their decorations and table setups, my jaw dropped. I loved the gold and black color scheme with the succulents and florals. So pretty! I told them they should get into event design. 🙂
When I asked Bianca why they chose Coldwater for their wedding, she said, “We went there for Sid’s birthday last year in August. At the time we had no idea we’d choose it for our venue. We always invisoned a beach wedding but I’m glad we went with Coldwater Gardens. We changed our theme so many times. It was hard to find a color scheme too. We went with boho then rustic, then boho rustic. But in the end I think it was a little more on the elegant side.” I think the entire vibe was just GORGEOUS!
“Our ceremony was short and sweet. We chose to write vows but wanted to keep them between us, so we said them to each other on our honeymoon.” ~ Bianca
Our first dance song was Grow Old With You by Adam Sandler. We love The Wedding Singer so it was perfect.
One of our funniest memories was our sparkler walkout fail, but I’m glad it all worked out with our iPhones. Sid & I joked about how our kids will see everyone’s iPhones & be like “Mom, what type of phones were those. They’re so old”.
Bianca’s advice for future brides: “Don’t stress what is out of your control. I kept worrying about how the weather would turn out for our wedding. It all ended up turning out fine. So don’t drive yourself crazy looking at the weather app.”
Sid’s advice for future grooms: “Learn to tie your tie before the day of your wedding.” lol
Special thanks goes out to: “Marianna for being the best little sister ever and always supporting us. My mom for all her love. My dad for not freaking out when I told him Sid & wanted to get married in 4 months. Cassie for being our wedding planner & making everything so beautiful. Meagan for being the best officiant. Rolling Embers for catering our wedding & lastly Erika for capturing all our special moments.”
