When Esther and Karl booked me to come photograph their wedding at Monasterio San Bartolome de Lupiana in Spain, I was so incredibly excited… I mean, it’s Spain! Who wouldn’t be?? I planned this trip for months and months. I booked a ticket not only for myself, but for my oldest son Cayden, who wants to travel EVERYWHERE and it was seriously the coolest experience ever to wander around Madrid with him and to have him come with me to this wedding. As we were walking around the grounds at the Monastery, Cayden said “I don’t think I will ever see anywhere prettier than this.” I agree, baby.
How gorgeous is this bouquet!!! Esther wanted Pampas Grass in all her florals and I LOVED it!
Esther’s mom and sister left to go greet guests at the wedding, so Esther’s Dad helped her into her dress. I think this should become a thing!
Y’all… their ceremony was in an open air monastery room. I about died.
Umm… yes, please!!! Spain’s food is so stinking good.
In Spain, the Bride and Groom, along with their mothers go to each guest and give them a gift for coming. Love this!
All future weddings, Please have this fun uplighting for your dance floor. 🙂
Fave shot.
