Margaritaville Hotel on Pensacola Beach is such a beautiful venue to get married at. It’s right on the Gulf of Mexico and is the perfect place to host your family and friends. Emily and Charles chose to have their ceremony on the beach with their reception next door at the Landshark.

Sometimes rain is a challenge on the wedding day, but wind can also be a factor, as was for Emily and Charles. One of the perks of getting ready at Margaritaville is that they have a beautiful back porch that wraps around the side of the building. While I was planning where we were going to do their first look with each other and their family and wedding party photos, I wanted to choose a place that I knew would keep them out of the strong wind and knew exactly where to go, as I’ve shot in this spot many times before. It provides a beautiful, simple backdrop, even light, and privacy from other guests at the hotel and was perfect.

Their French bulldog, Dallas, was their ring bearer with the bride’s two nieces as their flower girls.
