Getting married at home in Fort Lauderdale at their local church and the Lauderdale Yacht Club was definitely not the wedding that Mary Margaret and Martin had planned on. Their original plan was a beautiful catholic wedding here in Pensacola with a backyard reception at Mary Margaret’s parents’ house right on Pensacola Bay. Just a few weeks before their wedding, though, Hurricane Sally hit the Gulf Coast and caused major damage to where they were supposed to celebrate the night away.

I got a call a week later saying that plans completely changed and asked if I could come to Fort Lauderdale for their instead and I booked my plane ticket that same day. What I saw was truly incredible to pull together in such a short amount of time.
